I have been wanting to make a quilt for myself for a while now. But I could never decide on fabric. When I came across Heather Ross's Briar Rose it was like angels singing, and I knew I had found my fabric. I wonder does this happen to anyone else? Anyway, after much long and hard deliberation I decided to go with Camille Roskelley, Puddle Jumping quilt pattern. I thought it was a match made it quilt Heaven.
After I had all my blocks made I put them up on my design wall to figure out which one was going where and I just loved how it looked. So I decided to skip the sashing and add another row of blocks along the bottom to make a nice sized throw.
I hope to finish this up in the next couple of weeks, if my girl's will let me. I can't wait to use it!
This looks great - so bright, cheerful and fresh.
